Purpose and Philosophy
PRESCHOOL
Our program is designed for children who are ages eighteen months through five years. The philosophy of our preschool is to encourage spiritual, mental, emotional and physical development in a loving Christian atmosphere. We will provide opportunities for your child to develop self-esteem, creativity, self-exploration, and listening skills at their own pace. It is our hearts desire to see a happy, confident preschooler leave our program ready and eager to learn more in Kindergarten. Our qualified, experienced staff will enable your child to reach their full potential in a loving and nurturing environment.
Admissions Policy
In January, early registration will be available to currently enrolled students and their siblings, followed by FUMC members. Then registration will be open to the public. In order to confirm enrollment for your child, you must complete a new registration form and pay the non-refundable registration fee.
The Importance of Family-School Partnerships
We value the importance of creating a partnership with our parents. We believe that
a strong family/school partnership helps our school become better, our students learn better, and encourages parents to be a part of their child's education. We want to have open communication with our parents! To do so, we have several ways we communicate to our parents:
• School Website. We have a website which is updated monthly. The website has
information about upcoming events, reminders and school news.
• Notes from Teachers. Because our teachers don't always get to talk to each parent
one-on-one, they may send notes home with the child. This is a way of sharing quick
information with parents that may or may not need a response. And Parents are always welcome to send a note to the teacher.
• Emails from Director. The Director may, from time to time, send out emails with
information about upcoming events or an update that needs to go to every parent.
Parents are also free to send an email to the Director if they have a specific question or need.
• Monthly Newsletters. At the beginning of each month we send home a Newsletter
from the Director and one from your child's Teacher. The Newsletters give the families
information about upcoming events, donations needed, and reminders about classroom items.
• Parent-Teacher Conferences. We feel these conferences are an important time
for the teachers to provide in-depth information about the child's overall development.
This is also a prime time for parents and teachers to have an uninterrupted exchange
of information, questions, and ideas. As well as to work together to formulate goals for
the child.

You seriously have heroes working in the school! Knowing that my daughter is so loved and taken care of is huge! The tuition for each age group is as follows:
Toddlers and Two's: 3 Days (Tues, Wed, and Thurs) $280 per month
4 Days (Mon- Thurs) $295 per month
5 Days $330 per month
Three's: 3 Days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) $295 per month
4 Days ( Mon- Thurs) $315 per month
5 Days $320 per month
Four's: 4 Days (Mon- Thurs) $345 per month
5 Days $365 per month
Transitional Kindergarten (TK): 5 Days $370 per month
* Families with two or more children in the program will receive a $10.00 discount per month.
